  3. Create a sketch note for each trend. Bring your sketch notes to class on Monday
  4. Find an animated .gif you think is designed well and one that is not designed well. Have one sentence summary on each of the designs.

Week Two:

Wednesday 8/28

  • Presentation: Getting comfortable with After Effects
  • Activity: AF tutorial
    1. Create new 10sec composition.
    2. Add a layer of solid color.
    3. Add an image Layer.
    4. Add a text layer.
    5. Move the solid color layer on top of your image and text layers.
    6. Use key frames in the timeline to fade the solid layer from opacity 100% to opacity 0% after 3 seconds.
    7. Now fade from 0% opacity to 100% opacity using key frames from 7sec to 10sec.
  • Intro to Graph Editor and Fine tune with Graph Editor

  3. Finish Motiongraphic 95%for Critique and start process book. Render out for Critique
  4. Review: Illustrator to After Effects
  5. Review: Render Que in After Effects
  6. Review: Adding Music to After Effects (remember to use royalty free music)

Week Four
