Amber Forney
My name is Amber Forney, and I am a Graphic Designer & Illustrator! What inspires me as a designer is the entire process of creating. I love that I get to design and create anything that I can imagine. The best part about being a designer & illustrator is being able to make others feel happiness through your creations. My main goal as a designer is to use my voice and skill to benefit the community around us. I would love to work on branding & packaging in my career, and create designs that bring joy, awareness, accessibility, and spark creativity in others.
Jennifer Guarneros-Hernandez
Hi, I am Jennifer an Illustrator that works both traditionally and digitally. I feel that what inspires me the most as a designer is being able to create something and allowing one take on their own interpretations. Not just that but seeing other designers work is excited and one of the things that inspires me. Through an illustration we are able to tell not just stories but send our own messages. The fact that one as an illustrator is able to show what they see to the public is fascinating to me. One of my main goals is to work on book cover illustrations and graphic novels. I want to be able to provide readers with the same joy I found in reading when I was younger and how I still do to this day.
Caesar Hernandez
I’m Cesar, an illustrator born and raised in Chowchilla, Ca. Before transferring to Fresno State I attended Fresno City College where I got my associates degree in graphic design. My illustrative style consists of mostly of pen and ink, focusing on intricate details and fine lines. My inspiration and influences come from various sources including tattooing, horror movies and other media, skateboarding, and music culture in the the punk and metal scene. While I’ve yet to have a clear career goal, the main goal for my work is to invoke any sort of strong reaction from the viewer. When I think about the direction I wish to take my art one quote constantly repeats in my mind: “Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”
Lizette Pineda-Moreno
I have a passion for creating playful and imaginative work inspired by my multicultural background, childhood, and paper crafts. I’m interested in the field of children’s and young adult media, publication, and illustration. In addition to my design work, I have a background in public education as a K-12 tutor. This experience has given me a unique perspective on the interests of young people and children, and has inspired me to create illustrations that engages them.

Anna Stevens
My name is Anna Stevens and I am in the illustration track. I’ve always been inspired by how much story telling can be done through art and design, but illustration has been where I have been able to do that best. I find the process to be fulfilling and educational in how people’s perspectives will assume and create their own narratives about an illustration. I hope to go into concept art and development, but anything to be involved in the process of creating and telling a story through art is my main goal.
